LossyInfo is an independent research-and-tools project run by Sarah. It publishes browser-based inspection tools, a source-checked Claim Ledger, and bounded research services for factual creators.
The editorial promise
Every page should help you recover missing context, inspect a transformation, or avoid repeating a claim with more confidence than the evidence deserves.
The rules
- Start narrow and answer the actual question.
- Prefer primary sources and show the source.
- Say what a tool cannot establish.
- Keep uploaded files inside the browser whenever possible.
- Measure useful actions without assembling personal dossiers.
Lossy is not the same as false. It means the reconstruction can never contain everything the original did.
How we measure
We count page views, referrers, broad device class, tool usage, and intentional actions. Known automation is excluded from primary engagement metrics. We do not use advertising cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site identity graphs.
Questions about the project or a creator fit check can be sent to hello@lossyinfo.xyz.
